Amy Baker and Katherine Huynh not only shared a love for yoga, but also a strong desire to make it accessible for everyone. They envisioned a welcoming studio where one could further their yoga practice, regardless of their experience level: a calm and peaceful place where one could forget about the hustle of day to day living and focus on the present alone. They dreamed of creating a studio embodying the yoga spirit: self-love and appreciation, acceptance of self and others, non-judgment, comradeship, and spiritual growth. A place not only promoting the continuance of one’s practice, but a place allowing others to begin their yoga journey.
In 2010, their dream became a reality with the inception of Embrace Yoga Studio, located in the heart of downtown Fayetteville. From the beautiful bamboo floors to the high ceilings and calming colors, Embrace strives to be more than just any yoga studio. Every visual and physical aspect, including the high quality props available to anyone for use during their practice, has been carefully chosen by the entire Embrace staff.
Careful consideration is not only given to the appearance of the studio, but to each member of the Embrace staff. Our teachers are the physical embodiment of the Embrace spirit; selected for their knowledge, experience, and ability to safely guide others in their practice.
We welcome all fitness levels including the couch potato, the seasoned athlete, the pregnant woman, the injured soldier, and even those merely curious to the practice of yoga. We want everyone who enters our door to immediately feel the warmth and kindness of Embrace Yoga Studio, no matter if it is their first lesson or their hundredth.
